School is fucking over!

Other than graduation practice. (And waiting for my exam results...but that's another thing entirely.)

No more exams, no more IB evar. I've literally never felt this free in such a long time. All that work paid off in the end.

Now, time to kick off my shoes and relax.

AAAH.

PROM! PROM! PROM! Well, it honestly wasn't as good as I thought it would be, but granted, it wasn't bad either.

22nd-Mar-2008 11:39 pm - You know, Physics is only the most useless science ever devised in the history of mankind.

"Electromagnetic waves are produced because of the accelerated motion of electric charges. When electrons are accelerated in aerials or within atoms, they produce changing electric fields. These changing electric fields generate changing magnetic fields in a plane perpendicular to the electric field plane. As this process continues, a self-propagating electromagnetic wave is produced. As the charge oscillates with simple harmonic motion, the strength of the electric and magnetic vectors vary with time, and produce sinusoidal waves perpendicular to each other and to the direction of the wave velocity v. The waves are therefore periodic and transverse."

Um. What. The. FUCK?

If anyone understands the above excerpt, please promptly tell me what the hell it means. I am willing to pay money.

P.S. Anyone who considers doing Physics as a science in IB, I have a word of advice. Don't. Just. Don't. You will regret it for the rest of your high school career. Take something mild like Biology or EVS instead.

2nd-Mar-2008 09:54 am - Greek exhibition + Some creepy ass pictures.
patti boyd
Well, Friday was pretty eventful. [info]cheese_cookies and I went together with the Writing Club to the Greek exhibition. Of course, the statues were incredibly pretty (boy did those Greeks have muscles or what) but the lighting was fuckiiiiing creepy. I mean, black with blue backdrop? So not emphasizing their attractiveness! But then, my art teacher told me that that type of lighting keeps the statues in good condition so that's what I'll assume.

[info]cheese_cookies and I then got into a discussion...what if all this is really porn? And a few thousand years later, we think they are such sophisticated art when really all they served as was for Greeks to satisfy their sexual needs? What if in the future those people will think our porn is art?

After that, we went to eat, and talked until 8 pm (that was when I realized how late I was and ran home to dress for my friend's birthday party). Then we did some things which I will not talk about otherwise I will most definitely face wrath from my paternal biological unit.

I hibernated again yesterday night. *yawns*
11th-Feb-2008 08:11 pm - LOLZ.
patti boyd

Other than the fact that I am having an absolutely crap day...LOLZ.

Urgh. Physics. History. At least I had Art to cheer me up, until the teacher once again whipped out her handy timetable and proceeded to tell us how much pressure we're under.

Because I need to cheer myself up and want to see other people in pain - misery loves company, after all...

And that's all.

I will go listen to something emo now.

At the least, House/Wilson is finally canon.
31st-Jan-2008 11:59 pm - No, I am not obsessed with Sherlock Holmes.

More about me as a Holmes/Watson fan:
I started reading Sherlock Holmes about a year ago (although I was aware of them since I was much younger) and immediately fell in love with the characters - Holmes struck me as someone whom I would love to truly meet. Almost unmatched intelligence, arrogant, with a dominant personality but still with a compassionate and caring heart somewhere underneath it all. (Also, the plots are pretty addictive.)

Watson, on the other hand, is the complete opposite - outwardly caring, moralistic and long-suffering but willing to put up with Holmes' antics just because he enjoyed his company. I thought, and still think their dynamic is one of the best in any category of fiction. Holmes, without Watson, doesn't have someone to expound his thoughts on and is a solitary, lonely creature - even if he doesn't admit it, he needs Watson.

Well...I initially felt guilty slashing them since I could imagine Conan Doyle turning around repeatedly in his grave, them being such classic characters...but then, I thought - why not? A romantic relationship between the two could definitely be justified. So, I got over my guilt. :D

23rd-Jan-2008 10:41 pm - Heath Ledger is dead.
patti boyd
I'm not fucking kidding.

He's fucking dead. Google it.

I bet no one saw this coming. He never seemed like the type of person that would do it - drugs. (I know, I don't even know the man, how can I say that? But still...)

To think, he's still so young. And had such a promising career.

Wherever you are, Mr. Ledger, I hope you're doing okay.

P.S. And to think Britney Spears would be the first to go.

Oishi and Eiji are love.

I'm on an uploading kick.

I swear though, Oishi has the most screwed up hairstyle of any character I've seen.

Hoi hoi~ )
